One of the highlights of our Bali trip was staying at Ametis Villa, a luxury private villa in Canggu.
We wanted to spend a couple of days simply relaxing at a beautiful villa, and Ametis Villa was exactly what we had imagined.
Each villa offers plenty of privacy, and ours came with a spacious private pool, open living area, kitchen, large bathroom, and a dedicated butler.
Having a butler who could assist us during our stay also made the experience especially comfortable.
For travelers visiting Bali for the first time, staying somewhere that feels private, peaceful, and well looked after can make a big difference.

Checking in at Ametis Villa in Canggu
The villas are separated from one another, and our villa was located beyond this private entrance.
Even before stepping inside, it already felt very secluded.
This was our villa.
It had its own garden and a large private swimming pool.
The atmosphere felt more like staying in our own private vacation home than in a typical hotel.
A Spacious Open Kitchen and Living Area
The living space was incredibly spacious.
There was a dining table as well as an open kitchen, making it easy to spend time relaxing in the villa without feeling confined to a hotel room.
Guests can also use the kitchen.
Our butler helped prepare fruit for us, and it was also possible to buy ingredients from a supermarket and cook at the villa.
Having this kind of space is particularly nice if you prefer a slower, more relaxing style of travel.
A Large Bathroom with Plenty of Space
There was also a comfortable sofa where we could sit and relax.
The entire villa had a very open and peaceful atmosphere.
The desk area was spacious as well, and I loved the stylish chair.
The bathroom was huge.
One feature we particularly appreciated was having two separate sinks.
Being able to use one sink each made getting ready much easier.
For just two people, the amount of space felt incredibly luxurious.
A Very Open Toilet Area and Bali-Style Handheld Bidet
The toilet area was very open, with glass surrounding it.
It looked stylish, although I have to admit that it felt a little embarrassing at first!
Instead of a Japanese-style electronic bidet toilet, there was a handheld spray similar to a small shower.
This type of handheld bidet is common in Bali and other parts of Southeast Asia.
A Large Bathtub Even for Tall Guests
The bathtub overlooked the outdoor area, creating a wonderful sense of openness.
My husband is 183 cm tall, but the bathtub was large enough for him to stretch out comfortably.
He was able to relax properly and really enjoy his bath.
If you are tall and often find hotel bathtubs too small, this was one of the details that stood out to us.
A Romantic Canopy Bed and a Great Night's Sleep
The bedroom had a beautiful canopy bed.
It was very large and extremely comfortable.
I sometimes wake up during the night because of discomfort in my lower back, but I slept very well in this bed.
There was also plenty of room for two people, so we could both sleep comfortably without feeling cramped.
The canopy also made the room feel wonderfully romantic — almost like being a princess for the night.
We also used mosquito repellent around the bed and sleeping area.
Welcome Drinks and Thoughtful Butler Service
This was our welcome drink.
The presentation was beautiful, and it was the perfect way to start our stay.
We enjoyed the drinks together while relaxing in the villa.
Our butler also helped take photos of us during our stay, which was a lovely touch and gave us some wonderful memories from the trip.

For us, Ametis Villa was an ideal place to slow down and simply enjoy being in Bali.
The private pool, spacious rooms, large bathroom, comfortable bed, and personalized butler service made the villa feel very special.
It is particularly well suited to couples or travelers who prefer privacy and want to spend part of their Bali trip relaxing at the hotel rather than sightseeing all day.
Canggu has become one of Bali's most popular areas, so staying in a peaceful private villa can also be a wonderful contrast to the busy cafés, restaurants, and streets outside.
