This article shares the second half of the Nusa Lembongan tour we joined during our trip.
Relaxing by the Pool with Beautiful Blue Ocean Views
Snorkeling and sea walking are fun ways to enjoy Nusa Lembongan, but simply sitting back and looking at the beautiful blue ocean can feel just as luxurious.
This pool was located in front of the lunch venue included in the Nusa Lembongan tour we booked through GOGO BALI.
At the time, tour participants were able to use the pool freely.
The pool, ocean and sky were all blue!
Yay!
I am 158 cm tall, and the water came up to around my shoulders, so the pool was fairly deep.
The water was not cold either. It felt pleasantly warm.
On the opposite side of the ocean view, we could also enjoy plenty of greenery.
I remember finding the cushioned sofas beside the pool a little surprising.
They looked very comfortable, although I did wonder what happened when everyone came out of the pool soaking wet!
It was such a photogenic place.
The blue of the pool seemed to continue straight into the blue ocean.
Then beyond that was the blue sky.
This was one of those beautiful Bali views that I could have stared at for hours.
If you visit Nusa Lembongan, spending some time somewhere like this is definitely worth considering.
Relaxing at the Beach Without Carrying Too Much
When we joined the tour, the beach in front of this pool was introduced to us as “Mandala Beach.”
The sun can be very strong at the beach, so sunscreen is essential.
I brought a water-resistant SPF50 sunscreen with me.
If possible, I also recommend choosing a sunscreen that is designed to be more considerate of coral reefs and the marine environment.
The tour we joined provided towels and bottled water, and shower facilities were also available.
That meant we could enjoy the beach without having to carry too much with us.
One thing I liked about tours in Bali was that many of them included several things in one package.
Not having to arrange every little detail ourselves made the day much easier.
Beautiful Beaches and Fun Marine Activities in Nusa Lembongan
There were not too many people around when we visited, so we were able to relax without worrying too much about crowds.
We saw beautiful pieces of coral and seashells along the beach.
They were so pretty that I almost wanted to pick them up.
The beach also looked very clean, and we did not notice much litter or cigarette waste in the sand.
I really do love being by the ocean when traveling overseas.
We spent some time simply relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Near the boat area, we also spotted this giant chess set beside a hotel pool.
Bali has so many places that seem designed for beautiful travel photos.
I think Nusa Lembongan can be enjoyable not only for travelers in their 60s, but for younger travelers too.
It could also be a lovely destination for a mother-daughter trip.
Nusa Lembongan is a wonderful place to enjoy Bali's beautiful blue ocean.
When we visited, marine activities such as snorkeling and sea walking also felt more affordable than similar experiences we had seen in Hawaii.
